Head Women's Coach Aramie Brooks

Rockets Coach,  Aramie Brooks, played overseas from August 2011-October 2017. Brooks played in the Dominican Republic, Canada, Peru, Uruguay, Columbia, Nicaragua, Argentina, and the Euro summer league. Brooks was part of a championship team while in the Dominican Republic. While overseas, Coach Brooks did a lot of community work in different countries and spent time in schools doing motivational speaking and running basketball camps.

When Brooks came home, he coached at St. Leo Middle school in Lafayette Louisiana, leading to the conference finals.

Coach Brooks is from Earle, Arkansas, where he excelled in high school basketball earning All-Conference, All-Regional, Regional MVP, and All-State awards. Brooks was invited to play in the division’s statewide High School All-Star game.

Coach Brooks furthered his education by getting a scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. After two years, he then transferred to Northwestern State University “D1” where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in General Studies.
