Assistant Coach Vasha Sanders

Originally from Wynne, Arkansas, Vasha Sanders moved to Little Rock in 2002. While on her high school basketball team, she earned MVP, All-State, and All-Conference awards. She ended her high school career with an impressive thirty-three points in one game.

After high school, she attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith on a full-ride scholarship. Sanders continued to impress both on and off the court. Not only was she named Defensive Player of the Year, but she was also named Female Athlete of the Year. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Sanders got the opportunity to coach her first team in 2013. It was during this time that she truly realized her passion for coaching. She took it a step further in 2017 when she co-founded a basketball training program called Dream Hoops Training. Sanders loves helping players get to the next level and plans to do that at SAU Tech.
